Making Budget Planning Less Overwhelming

We started Progress Node Portal because too many businesses in Taiwan were drowning in spreadsheets that didn't talk to each other. And honestly? We've been there ourselves. There's something frustrating about knowing your numbers exist somewhere but not being able to see the full picture when you actually need it.

How We Got Started

Back in 2023, our founder was helping a local manufacturing business untangle their quarterly budgets. They had different people tracking expenses in different systems. Sales used one tool, operations had their own system, and finance was trying to reconcile everything in yet another platform.

It took them three weeks every quarter just to get a clear snapshot. That's when we realized budget consolidation wasn't really about fancy software. It was about creating a sensible flow that actually matched how businesses operate day-to-day.

So we built something practical. Not revolutionary, just useful. A system that brings your financial data together without requiring a complete overhaul of how you already work.

What Guides Our Work

These aren't corporate values written for a website. They're the principles we actually reference when making decisions about our service.

Clear Communication

When a client asks us a question, we answer in plain language. No jargon unless it's truly necessary, and even then we explain it. Your time is valuable, and confusing responses waste it.

Realistic Timelines

We've learned to build buffer time into our estimates. Things come up. Data isn't always clean. We'd rather under-promise and finish early than create stress by missing deadlines we shouldn't have set in the first place.

Adaptable Approach

Every business has its quirks. We don't force you into a rigid framework. Instead, we spend time understanding your specific situation and adjust our methods accordingly. What works for a retail chain won't work for a logistics company.

The People Behind the Service

We're a small team. That means when you work with us, you get to know the actual people handling your account.

Financial Consolidation Specialist

Desmond worked in corporate accounting for eight years before joining us in early 2024. He's the person who spots inconsistencies in data imports before they become problems. Outside work, he's usually hiking somewhere in Taroko National Park.

Raina manages most of our ongoing client relationships. She's particularly good at translating technical limitations into business terms. Before this role, she spent six years doing financial planning for mid-sized manufacturers across Taiwan.

Working Together Makes Sense

If you're tired of piecing together budget information from five different sources every month, we should talk. We won't promise overnight transformations, but we can show you how other businesses have saved considerable time on their financial consolidation processes. Most clients see noticeable improvements within the first quarter.
